15 People Who Prove That If You Fail Hard Enough, You Can Win!

Fails. We’ve seen a fair amount of those in our time here. Fails are our specialty, after all. Our rason d’etre. Our reason for being (for anyone who doesn’t speak French). So we think we know a fair bit about them. We’re experts, if you will. Their premise is simple – someone messes up something and we all laugh. But sometimes, just sometimes… it’s possible to fail so damn hard that you go full circle and end up winning. Rare, granted. But it can happened. What appears on the surface to be someone being ridiculous is actually something very different indeed. Let’s show you exactly what we mean, shall we? Yes. Here are fifteen top examples.

Here’s a brilliant example to kick us off with. When you’re not at home – and nor are your neighbors – your UPS guy will sometimes just secretly slid your Amazon DVD or whatever underneath your doormat, won’t he? But it’s not always practical with larger boxes, is it? But that hasn’t stopped this guy. He’s just gone right ahead and bundled a three foot high pile of boxes under this person’s mat. Making him the worst delivery driver in the world. So bad is he, in fact, that he’s actually the world’s best.

How do you fill up your vehicle with gas? Do you let an attendant take care of it? Or do you fill her up yourself? If you’re more of a manual filler, you’ll know the technique… Lift the nozzle, put it into your gas tank, press the trigger, get in your car and drive off with it still in there at high speed until it rips out the gas pump. Because life’s too short for removing the nozzle and replacing it and paying, isn’t it? Isn’t it?

Here’s how to paint a roof green if you’re in a rush and not a huge fan of forward planning or strategy or anything. This dude just does what he wants, whenever he wants. He doesn’t worry about spending a whole bunch of time worrying about how things are best tackled or any of that business. Besides – this isn’t a fail… He got picked up in a helicopter thirty seconds after this photograph was taken.

Here we see some pretty extraordinary honesty from this pizza fan as he complains about his toppings-less dinner and then has to quickly backtrack when he realizes he’s ¬†just opened up the pizza the wrong way up. Filing the complaint on Twitter and being wrong should make for a bit of an epic fail. But his good-natured response proves that he’s a bit of a dude. Albeit one who opens boxes badly.

Republican Presidential candidate Donald J Trump has carved a bit of a niche for himself as being ‘The Guy Who Hates Mexicans’ in this Presidential campaign. So any anti-immgrant racist types know exactly who to back to be the The Big Man after Obama. But it would seem that there’s a little hypocrisy going on (what, from a politician?!) Looks like his clothing range in manufactured south of the border. But does Don care? No way, Jose!

No one wants to be friend-zoned, do they? It’s the height of humilation. You’re moving in for the kill with someone and they reject you. Seeing you ‘more as a friend’ than ‘anything else’. Wow. It’s a big bruise for your ego to take, but – in time – you’ll get over it. Just pray that no one is watching you and taking pictures of you using Snapchat, huh? But hey, if it happens? Why not own it? We think this kid should become the poster boy for people that are friend-zoned.

WOW. We’ve read this Facebook exchange about a dozen times and our admiration for the sheer insane levels of stupidity that this phoneless Austin character has is nothing short of gigantic. He REALLY isn’t getting the point here, is he? It’s quite incredible. Her sheer pigheadedness and refusal to understand how losing something works is something to behold. He’s such a loser that he’s won. We hope he got his phone back. Somehow.

Newspaper headline fails are some of our favorite fails. The wrong picture or two juxtaposing stories next to each other can often lead to some real jokes and japes inside the pages of a major newspaper. But we’re not sure we’ve ever seen one as good as this. We can only imagine that the editor did it on purpose. Otherwise, this is a spectacular fail. One that failed so hard, everyone’s a winner! This is GOLD!

Ah, a nice little ironic company motto for us now that fails so good. We’ve already seen one parcel delivery fail on this list and now it’s time for another one. Here we see the logistics company TNT assuring us that they can. ‘Sure we can’, they reckon. And when it comes to dropping off parcels at your house, we’re sure that they can too. But when it comes to being able to drive they extremely tall trucks under roofs that are shorter than their trucks? Sure they can’t…

Here’s an epic example of someone failing so hard they win. This kid isn’t going to be acing this school test, is (s)he? Unless the subject is Being a Smart Alec. But, though we’re not schoolteachers, we’re pretty sure that that isn’t a school subject. The kid was probably expected to check ‘B) Darwin’s Theory of Evolution’. But they had bigger and better ideas. To feature on a list of funny fails on the internet. Well? Congrats, kid… A+.

We’ve seen some pretty smart fails that have failed so hard that the people have ended up winning, but this fail? We think that this dude has failed so epically he’s won and then kept going all the way round to failing again. And HARD. Yeah, we know it’s hard to keep up, isn’t it? But when you see a guy in the sun not wearing his shades, wearing his baseball cap back to front and having to use his hand to cover his eyes from the brightness of the sun? You’ve got to wonder about kids today, haven’t you?

Have you ever tried to make a gingerbread house? It’s pretty difficult. They’re massive and it’s tough. They become pretty brittle, so it’s easy to break them. And this baker knows all about it. They made one. And it’s busted. It’s a fail. But they’ve come out the other side and saved themselves. By framing a dinosaur. This toy T-Rex has been fitted up to look like he destroyed the gingerbread house. Very sneaky indeed.

Here’s a brain twister that might just make you think. We see some ingenious thinking here and then some fail thinking… But ultimately – we’ve come out of this with a new perspective… Hitler was bad. We all know that. But was he really that bad? After all, he was the man who killed Hitler. But he also killed the man who killed Hitler. Plus he committed suicide. It’s all very complicated, isn’t it? We just don’t know what to think.

Tattoo fails. You’ll all have seen them. Not only online but in real life too. People seem to make plenty of mistakes when it comes to getting inked. And it’s easy to group this guy into that when you see this ridiculous fake G-string tattoo on his lower back. But the more we see it and think about it, the more funny it is. It’s just so stupid, we’ve ended up loving it. He’s failed so hard he’s won.

See this in this woman’s hair? It’s not a new fashion or something her hairdresser has put in and told her to leave for some reason. It is, as it appears… A condom wrapper. We’re guessing that this poor lady (who has had her identity covered up, thankfully…) slept on this wrapper and it got wedged in her hair. Let’s hope this was a Sunday morning and she was off to grab coffee. And not off to work or a job interview or anything.
